Workshop 6: Axure for Mobile (with Malte Lücken)

Save time and effort when creating prototypes of websites and apps without coding. With Axure, you can build fast and efficient prototypes to visualize your product ideas and interaction concepts.

This workshop will focus on using Axure for app prototyping. We will explore the special requirements for prototyping mobile apps, set up an Axure framework for Axure app prototypes and look into the possibilities of creating usable documentation of app screens and user stories.

You’ll learn how to

  • set up robust frameworks for mobile prototypes
  • create interactive documentation of app screens and screen flows
  • start your mobile prototype by pressing a home screen icon just like a real app
  • include webfonts to improve the look and feel on mobile devices

This workshop is addressed toward concept developers and designers who want to visualize their creations, as well as Axure users who want to find better ways of mobile prototyping. Basic to good working knowledge of Axure is a prerequisite to have fun in this workshop.

Attendees should bring their own laptop with the current version of Axure RP installed.
